Unfortunately I didn’t check this site before dealing with Jeffery Asherbranner.
I was his supplier. He purchased some computer parts from me and asked to use his UPS account for shipping, what I did.
When I ship him first three chassis with three slot BluRay drives ($145.00 a piece, $435.00 total) he called me and claimed that BluRay drive are missing. This is impossible because I packed everything myself and boxes – according to Jeff – were not opened. When I told him that this is impossible he said: “I am not a thief, OK I am not a thief.”
It was the first red light, no one ever said anything like that before.
Because I didn’t put boxes into his hands, but shipped by UPS, I decided to ship him three ODDs and swallow loss of $435.00.
He purchased four more chassis from us and made another claim that all power switches were defective. I sent him replacement by he NEVER returned “defective”ones.
Over one month ago UPS charged me $703.65 because Jeff refused to pay UPS charges.
It really made me angry. On July 23 I sent him an e-mail:
Hi Jeff
Could you please explain why did you refuse to pay UPS charges for shipping ordered items from PHT? All orders have been shipped on your UPS account by your request.
He answered:
I have not refused to pay shipping. You are mistaken. What are you talking about?

So I sent him a copy of the invoice with information:
Hi Jeff
Here are six pages of my invoice. As you can see UPS charged me over $700 because:
“Bill To Account Refused To Pay” So as you see I am, not mistaken.
I already paid UPS bill so please send $703.65 by PayPal as "personal" and "payment owed".
Nothing happened so I send another one on 7/26:
Hi Jeff
Did you receive e-mail from me yesterday? I received no money from you. Please pay me back shipping charges ASAP.
He answered:
I receive the email late Yesterday and sent the check out this morning. Sorry for the confusion on shipping.

I never receive a check, so I called him on8/7 and he said that he didn’t send a check on 7/26, but on 8/2 (!!!)
On 8/9 I emailed him again because he doesn’t answer phone calls since than:
Hi Jeff
It is exactly 14 days when you sent this e-mail and I receive no check.
Please stop playing games with me and pay money you owe me by PayPal today.
I sent him three money requests by PayPal – no answer at all.
He doesn’t answer my phone calls neither my e-mails. (So at least no more lies from him)
So conclusion is simple. If you deal with Jeff Asherbranner and his company – you will loose money sooner or later. He will cheat you if he has can. I lost $1,140.00 dealing with him. I know that he lied about ODDS because he lied many times later.
