I bought a stove at the Home Depot. Since they did not have the item in the store, the associate told me to order online. I did and chose my deliver date, selecting the installation and removal of old stove.
A day before the deliver date, somebody called and said they would not be delivering it because it was not in stock. I said I chose that item because it was in stock, and she said "Just because you bought and paid for something and because we gave you a delivery date doesn't mean you are gong to get it" Unbelievable - so I got a new delivery date 18 days later.
When the stove arrived the Delivery person said he could not install it or take away the old one because it is propane. Everything is Propane where I live! We do not have natural gas here. The store where I went knew that - they do not have natural gas! So I called customer service and after 34 minutes on hold, I was told the best thing to do is refuse deliver and cancel the whole thing. They could not guarantee that it would work.
