I called Best Buy on Fry Rd in Katy Texas because the screen on my Dell laptop needs to be replaced. The first thing I was told is that it would be expensive. Then they could not give me a price and said I had to send it off for an estimate which would cost $36-$85 shipping fee that is not refundable if I decide the cost is too high and not have it repaired. I was told no one else except an authorized Dell dealer could help me. I found a computer repair store and called them and told them what Best Buy had said. They laughed at what I was told and they had the replacement monitor on hand and the cost was very reasonable. I would not recommend having anything repaired there unless you have an extended warranty and don't have to pay. The service was very poor and the representative that I spoke with was very rude and unhelpful with my questions.
