Don’t purchase a Utica boiler! I purchased a higher finish, 90% effectiveness cast metal Utica UB90-150 furnace. Mounted in September. Quickly we found an interior fuel flow, quickly set by specialist, but really harmful and really should never occur. 24 months later, the primary cast metal heat-exchange device created a water trickle right in the centre of the primary casting. (not in a fitting). Again, should not occur. Guardian organization, ECR Worldwide, includes a rigid plan to complete just the minimum needed from the guarantee, (some components, no work). ECR provided a brand new casting plus some gaskets, that'll need two specialists from my regional company 8 hours each to totally disassemble & reassemble my furnace ($800, my cost).incredibly, I'd two diverse reps of ECR customer support each inform me “this occurs all of the time”.
