I performed a notary act for CNI California Notary, on March 26,2007 as Notary Signing Agent. I waited 45 days for payment when I decided to call them. All their phones have been disconnected. I'm sure they no longer are working under that name any more. I called the lender to see if they had been paid for my services and had already cashed their check. I'm not sure if there is another course of action I can take so I might to write it off at the end of the year on my taxes as a loss. If there is something I can do I would appreciate the help. Even though it is only $75, it's the point that they should pay for services rendered.
