My father got a letter saying he'd won over Euro$500,000 and provided a contact number. It all seemed legit until they asked for him to transfer 10% of it for "tax" to a personal bank account they provided - before the lottery winnings were transferred to us. A lawyer was asked about it, and he also deemed it fraud.
