We received a billing for three separate days in june for 4 minutes each at $16 to calls made to the united kingdom. A notice to customer stated that these charges are for an entertainment fee for access to pay-per-view websites. We thought that this was a bill for aol technical support. Oh yes, they also tacked on a surcharge of $1.99 per minute on our local phone bill.
We did see the charges on our phone bill and we will call verizon to see how they got there. We never called the united kingdom! We have no idea what these charges are for. There is no phone number to call them and even if we did, i can imagine what they would charge for the call.
They do have a website, but you have to download a "plug-in" in order to access. I will not give them another opportunity to our information. Have you gotten any other complaints similar to this?
