I am writing as a very unhappycustomer wishing for a refund for my product. A WordSmart representative calledme on or shortly prior to 9/19 regarding the SAT/ACT product. She assured methat I could return it at any time. I told her my son was taking the test soon andshe assured me that it would be rush shipped without charge and I would receiveit by that Friday. I did not receive it until 10/24. I was billed for the product on 9/19. This in itself itunacceptable because my son then did not have time to use it before thetest. When I called to say that it hadnot arrived and I asked for a refund they stated that they couldnt refund itbecause I had not received it yet. I was never told that I signed up for amonthly fee of $49.95 for 10 months after that. I did not even open the productuntil today when I received my American Express bill and saw an additional $49.95plus another $7.95 (I dont know what that charge is). It is also evident that my son never used the product as I just noticed an activation code was providedwhich was never activated. I purchased this through AmericanExpress and will dispute it with them if I do not receive a satisfactoryresponse from you. The product has never been opened and it in the originalshipping box. When I called to return the product they claimed that they didn't have to return anything and that everything I said was not true. I was to fax something to the Board of Directors.
