I also received a $9.95 charge to my credit card by ews-design.com, which my credit card company told me was a Web provider and data networking company. So I look for ews-design.com on the Internet and the site doesn't exist (big surprise). I called the phone number that on my credit card statement for the company and it only allowed me to leave a message or fax. Silly me, I left my home and work numbers and no calls back.
I've seen a similar consumer complaints filed on this site and saw that PayPal was one of the companies with which that person does credit card biz. I use PayPal for paying for eBay purchases. Perhaps this is where they're getting our info.
Any ideas how this is happening? Anyone had any recourse with them?
