The colleges hire this company to telemarket people who've supposedly requested information about furthering their education. However, in many cases they call persons who have not requested information, and even insist on connecting these people with colleges in order to get paid by the school. They are open from 7 am to 11 pm 7 days a week, calling on weekends and holidays.
Their area code is 205, so if you're being called on behalf of a school that is not in Birmingham, but from that are acode, chances are they're the ones calling. They want to "verify" or "confirm" your information to "transfer" you to the school. Which isn't necessary, and exposes your personal information.
