These people signed a contract with us to provide college services for our teen. They said they will be there through her last 3 years of high school helping her find the right college, help her file fasa forms, find scholarships, file them for us. We paid $1490.00 for this service and today we get a post card in the mail stateing " with deep regret and sadness we must inform you that College Funding Center (and it's parent company, The College Advantage Company, inc.) has been forced out of business..." "At this point you must take upon yourself all activities that College Funding Center was pursuing on your behalf.
This letter terminates all College Funding Center communications both from and to the company." So, we will not receive any of the contractual obligations they said they would provide. Our teen still has 2 more years of high school before she would have benefited from the program. Now what? We're out $1500. Bucks for not a damn thing! That's just wrong, it seems they just took our money and ran.
