Okay. Where do I start. Ryerson University has screwed me over that chang school of continuuing education. It all happened in the summer of 2008 in august. I live in London, Ontario and Ryerson is in Toronto so i wanted to enroll second year doing long distance studies at home in london. So i went to the change school of continuuing ed spent a good few hours speaking with counsellors and making sure i was able to do it. I was told in the event if i signed up for these classes (about 4 business courses) about 600 each which brought a total to 2400 around and if i chose not to attend or take the classes i would be able to cancel and drop the classes without any fees incurred.

Still unsure if i was going to do the 4 distance study business courses i signed up for them anyway. Shortly after I signed up for the courses i returned back to London. The end of August came and 3 weeks after i signed up for the courses (the courses ran from september to January) my dad had a heart attack and mom was diagnosed with colon cancer so i would no even be attending school this year and after my dad's bypass surgery I and him with my mom flew out in september 14th to their home country of Pakistan and i spent 5 months there with my dad and his family.

As soon as I found out i was leaving the country i dropped the courses and didn't even attend one class. The timeline was near the end of august i signed up for 4 business courses at ryerson change school, then a couple of weeks later i dropped them.

Now pakistan is pretty much a 3rd world country, there's no electricity for 8 hours a day during the hot summer months and communication is almost impossible. When i came back to canada to london in february i find out that Ryerson had spent 2-3 months trying to contact me for overdue fees from change school of continuuing education. And sometime in November they sent the overdue fee over to Shellco Credit Systems LTD. The total amount was for $716.42 goddamn dollars. Once again that's a fee of 700 goddamned dollars that they charged me for adding and dropping 4 f*ing courses in as little as 3 weeks time.

Now I obviously didn't know about it because i left in september and returned in february. But holy s*t and forgive my foul language i was harassed every day by Shellco Credit Systems LTD and This collection officer by the name of C. Theo was extremely rude and at times harassed me and yelled at me. This man had the balls to keep calling me and harassing me to pay this bullshit fee which i don't owe because technically, it's illegal to charge for a service which i didn't use. And i didn't attend class and use any of ryerson's service.

I don't normally give out names in a public forum but this man deserves his name to be out there he shouldn't be this rude to people. He had the guts to call me a liar and a deadbeat and a student who took advantage of school systems. All these unpleasent false accusations.

Bottom line is I happily attended ryerson for my first year of my program in 2007 i was happy with the school year and paid all my fees with the help of OSAP i'm poor and my dad doesn't earn an income he's on disibility so OSAP gives me 9300 a year to live on and pay tuition which still isn't enough and these pricks have the balls to tell me i owe them money?

I don't owe them a dime. And they are not getting a dime more from me

That 700 dollar charge is bulls*t and shellco keeps sending me letters threatening to take me to court for the 700 dollar bulls*t fee

The hell with ryerson and the hell with collection agencies i'm a young 23 year old male who is a contributing member of society i don't need to get my education from that bulls*t university. When i return back to school in the fall of 2010 i'm taking my education to another institution.
