After fifteen years I lost my job, my employer died. Unable to find a job I went to Bryman College on Brookhust in Anaheim Ca. They make is sound so wonderful promising you a wonderful career in what ever course of study you choose. Then you take out student loans to finance your education. For some reason the $10,000.00 Medical Assisting course cost me close to $15000.00. My required externship was lousy (no real job) months latter with repayment of those loans looming and no job and no help from career services to get a job. I returned to them (stupid me) and registered for Medical Insurance Billing and Coding. Now keep in mind I graduated with Honors both times and still no job. I was treated unfairly by an instructor and other staff members, accused of stealing and lying. Hard to steal something from a locked cabinet when the cabinet is locked and you have reciepts on you for what you were acused of stealing. And the lying part not me that was someone else. Each and every month the same speach when new students started the class. If you were the favorite you were set, if not oh well. Last year I filed a legal complaint agnist a staff member with the state of California. They lie to you take advantage of you, get you to take out loans you are unable to pay. Fortunately someone is helping me out and paying those loan payments for me so my credit is not ruined. I found out to late that the California Atty. General took Corinthian Colleges to court and won. If I had known much earlier I never would have walked thru the doors. They give you hope make you think your dreams are possible and then reality hits. Now I hold not one but two diplomas that are only worth the paper they are written on. They have ruined my self esteem, self worth, stolen my future and my dreams from me. Having done my part, they should have done theres and gotten me into that wonderful job, career they promised us all. I can not even drive past that awful place with out crying. I have asked God daily to close them down, they have hurt so many people for money. What is that old saying The Love Of Money Is The Root Of All EVIl. After and outpatient surgery I stopped by my former class and donated something to the class. The students laughed at me (had an eye patch on) The instructor did nothing said nothing. If by my writing this it prevents someone from going thru what I have with this company, then my suffering is worth it. Not everyone gets a job, most graduates are unemployed or under employed or not employed in the Medical field at all. My dates of attendance are 2006 and 2007.
