Stalking Tactics to get you to sign up and shady Financial Aid

My experience with the University pales to many others. I feel this so called school is just out to rip folks off. Firstly, the reps stalk you till you talk to them. One rep called me, I told him I cannot talk at work. So another calls me, finally I'm like ok since I do want to go back to school. I sign up via a very rushed application process, especially the financial aid portion, skip this skip that, I didn't really read through much of anything. I'm excited though because yes, I will be starting school soon! I tell the rep again please do not call my cell while I'm at work keep in mind.

The rep calls me again the next day, I don't answer but I know it is him, he leaves no messages. Next day more calls, I finally answer, it is another person wanting me to sign up for a work shop during work hours. I tell him I cannot go to this website because I am at work please contact me at a later time. He wants to know why can't I? Cant I just for a minute? I tell him No! The reps are not understanding nor do they care what you say to them. They just need to reach some goal of theirs for the day.

Again I speak to my rep this time early in the morning before work really starts and boss isn't around I was just told so far so good, I can get started soon. No problem. I realize the problem is me not being more assertive in telling the rep don't call. But at the same time I do need to talk to the rep since I was going to take classes.

Again at work more calls no messages, I don't answer these calls. I get a call from an unknown number, I check it out by searching the number via google and I found a warning message about the university and Axia and financial aid in a message about this website. Alarms go up, I read through many other complaints and I'm thinking i'm next! Why would a reputable company contact you via an unknown number you cannot call back! The number belongs to some type of finance place linked to the university.

I tell the rep via email please halt all application processing, I do not wish to attend classes. I have also left him a phone message. I do not to tell him again please halt the process. So far everything is still going through! I need to make sure he understands. I'm fearing I will get some mystery charges for classes I will not take. If the rep does call tomorrow, and I know they will I will voice again I do not wish to take classes. I am hoping this will be the end of the stalking.
