Around March of 09' I enrolled in University of Phoenix's online program (Axia College).in the beginning I thought that program was great. I made All A's and B's, mostly A's. Neither the Professors nor advisors ever had a problem with me with my school work.
As time progressed my financial advisor began hassling me about me needing extra funding for my classes. I had only two classes left, and Axia College claimed that I was out of financial aid and need to pay out of my pocket. I had already applied for a loan before I had enrolled so that I would for sure be able to finish all of my courses.
After learning that my funding had run out I tried to withdraw from my from the Axia program, but they would not allow me to do so. Now I am still two classes away of finishing the year off. Axia College has turned turned me over to the collection agency. I honestly feel that none of this is fair. I do not wish to ever attend Axia College again!
Axia College has totally discouraged me from all online courses. I am completely disappointed in them. Usually when individuals apply for financial aid and loans it is because they are not able to afford to pay for classes on their on; which is exactly why I applied.
I am so determined to complete school, and I am in serious need of help. If anyone can help me please do so. I have not paid University of Phoenix nor the collection ageny because I have hope that there is another way that this situation can be dealt with.
