I recently attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences located in Gettysburg Pa after basically being sold on the whole program by Paul Chiacchierini. I was mislet I would be able to get a job as an entry level job as an engineer at a top production company after attending their program. Needless to say after graduation I started applying for employment at different companies only to hear time and time again that my training was insufficient. I really cant believe I wasted over $12,000 taking these classes thinking it would lead to a high paying job in the field I finally did get a job but its at the local movie theater paying $7.00 per hour not excatly what I had in mind, when I spoke with Paul Chiacchierini the director he could not provide any proof of any other students landing lucrative jobs from the training they provide. I plan on speaking with an attorney and most likely filing suit to get my money back. My advice for any students considering going there is to go to NY, LA or a larger market where you can not only benefit from better training or up to date equipment but also learn from people who are actually working in the business.
