International Academy of Design and Technology takes in Audio students telling them they can use facility studios for their own productions and does not tell them curriculum fully in Admissions. Department has lost two former Chairs who where well credentialed and experienced, and replaced them with an internal person of "Program Chair" who has been with the company for 10 years that HAS NOT AUDIO PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE. Not even Pro Tools certified.
Many unhappy students given false promises and bad teachers so they drop out. Dean only cares about numbers and his bonus check. It's a for-profit school.
My advice would be to go 20 min away to local State college. THOUSANDS less with much better credentials and better program. Besides, they have newer Pro Tools systems.
Save yourself the time and money. Guy who does open houses is the former program chair's boyfriend. Seems like everyone there is just there for the paycheck.
