Essay Empire is a website for people who need papers for class and do not have the time to write them. I found myself in a bind with a deadline quick approaching and stuck in the middle of a (unplanned) move out of my house. Because of this, there was no way I could get this paper done and deal with everything else and I chose to use this service.
I have found good reviews about the site online and they have some good prices compared to other sites. Unfortunately what I didn't do is check complaint before I handed over my money.
I paid $85 for a 4 page essay that needed to be done within 48 hours. About 30 hours after my purchase, I had heard no confirmation about my order or that anyone had started working on it so I sent an email asking what the status is. The reply?
"Everything is going fine"
That tells me nothing. Nothing at all. I didn't ask how you were doing, I was asking what the status of my paper is and if anyone is working on it. The most generic no thought reply ever was sent to me. Not acceptable when I willingly handed over a wad of cash for this service.
Okay, so the deadline is approaching fast. I was hoping to have the paper a day before it was due but I haven't heard anything at all from this company and I'm very concerned. I send another email on the day that the paper is due asking what the status of the paper is, explaining that I need it by this time, and that I'm very concerned that I haven't heard anything. The reply I got?
...
That's right. Nothing. No reply at all. None! I start skimming through the site frantically looking for a contact number or something so that I can speak to an actual human. There was nothing.
Luckily I explained the situation I'm going through to my instructor (Not the whole I paid for a paper online and never received it part of course) and got an extension on the paper. Now I have to write it and squeeze in some time to actually do so. Probably after this review...
Maybe it's just karma screwing with me for paying a service to write a paper for me. Maybe I just have bad luck. Maybe the site wants students to fail? In either case, I paid them money and did not receive desired service.
