I ordered a clock from Allenbeys on Dec. 05 and was promised it would arrive on Dec. 18. It was a Christmas gift. It never arrived. I tried to contact Allenbeys over a dozen times via e-mail and telephone between Dec. 18 and Jan. 3. No response!!!
I finally got a hold of someone in the middle of Jan. And she told me it was on back order and it would arrive in two weeks. Jan. Came and went and I contacted customer service again and was now told it would be the end of Feb.
I insisted on speaking to a manager, and was transferred to a supposed manager, who went on to say it was not their fault, that it was the suppliers fault. I don't care whose fault it is. I am the customer it should have definitely not been my problem. The manager promised to send my mother-in-law a letter explaining what had happened and apologizing. Guess what? No letter was ever sent.
Feb. Came and went and still no clock. I tried several more times to contact Allenbeys, but never any response. On March 5 I contacted the Better Business Bureau. Today (March 21) in the mail I received a refund check from Allenbeys for my purchase and a Tiny little yellow note stating my file got misplaced in the move and here was my money back. What the hell does that mean. Obviously I am not getting my clock. Thanks for dragging this on for four months. I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my life.
I would never, ever, ever, purchase a thing from this company!!!
