I bought what I thought was vintage earrings from the site in dec. When I got them I was outraged that they were infact not vintage but earrings the company made out of "vintage" disks and cheap pierced earring posts.
No where on the site did it tell you that. NOt until after the earrings were mailed did the owner even meantion the earrings were posts. ALong with that, I paid 8 dollars for priority mail, and the earrings were shipped regular post, at a cost of $37 cents. I posted my complaint with the BBB.
The company replied once to the BBB saying they would not refund my money for the earings since it was already past the allowed refund period, but would refund the overchraged shipping if I could proved I paid that much, I had to send in copies of my check even though she had the reciept that she sent me originally with the price I paid.
I emailed the copies of my check several times, and tried to contact her by phone, no response from them.
The BBB sent the company my rebutle, and never heard back from the company. The complaint is suppose to be written up on there site.
I have also contacted the Florida state consumers affairs department. They have not heard from the company after sending them my complaint.
So basically the owner lied when she said she would refund my shipping cost that she over charged me. I believe they are dishonest and are only out to rip off the customers.
I would suggest never having anything to do with this site. They are not willing to do anything for you. AT one point, in the companys response to my first complaint to the BBB, the owner actually acused me of not being truthful, yet it is she and her site that is not truthful. Do not put your trust into this site!
