I searched the internet over the christmas holiday to purchase a pair of diamond earrings for my wife. I saw this advertisement for 1 carat diamond earrings for $299.00 (i know what an ass i was). I spoke with a representative Paul before purchasing the earrings to find out the quality of the earrings. He assured me they were of good quality and came with an appraisal. When i got the earrings i was very disappointed i expected some flaws but these earrings were so milky i decided to take them to a jewelry compnay. They advised me that the earrings were fake and not worth anything. I tried on numberous occassions to contact the company, via phone/email.
Finally a month later i got the same Paul on the phone he assured me that it was no problem to return the earrings and get a refund. Well after another month of trying to contact them they have received the earrings back and has not refunded my money. They refuse to answer any calls or emails. The last time i spoke with this Paul person his response to me before hanging up on me was "I should have educated myself better on diamonds". When i reminded him of our conversations and that i had them appraised and they were garbage he hung up and hasn't responded any further.
I placed two complaints with the Better Business Bureau and they have basically closed my account because the company will not respond to them either. And when the company did respond they lied to the BBB and said a refund was issued. This company has ripped off so many people via trustlink: you will see the complaints. I am now in limbo because i may have to eat the $299.00 as a lesson learned and i find that to be unfair. For me to sue i would have to travel to Ca and i can only get court cost and the earring purchase price. Not travel expense. I am in New Jersey and don't have the means to take it this far. Everyone Beware of this company.
