MedVance Institute is simply NOT a place of moral or ethical standards. MedVance is a for profit school who will do anything and everything to trick a student into going there.
How do I know this? I worked there. I was told to say that I didn't know when the next start would be. But the truth is, THEY HAVE A NEW START EVERY SINGLE MONTH PEOPLE! I was also asked to lie about what other competitive schools offer. I was told to lie about money. I was told to call a potential student as many as 100 times until they would come in and see us!
I also worked there for 6 months and had to clock out everyday for an hour for lunch but was told I could/would lose my job if I actually left and took a lunch.
My boss, Sharon Wooten was a 33 year old high school senior. Every other word out of her mouth was F*. She hated her bosses, Alex Guerino and Marcella Nixon. She would talk about them like they were dog crap. She hates her life and her job, therefore, makes everyone there miserable. I feel sorry for her. Before long, she won't have a job at all.
They also fired me because I was looking for another job. Then would not pay me my last check. After 12 days of my check being late, I had to call corporate in west palm beach, and when I finally got it, it didn't have all my hours on it.
If you are thinking about working here or going to school here, please think again. This place is only concerned about money. They don't care about you. They just want your money. Unfortunately, there are people that work there that are awesome people and they are stuck. But they have to pay bills so that's that.
