I went to MedVance and fully expected to find a position. I had 20 years of a business management background and was told over and over;"You will find a position easily because of your experience". What they do not tell you is: 90% of the clinics and hospitals require at least a year of experience and that there are 100's of others seeking the same position and you will not find a position for months maybe years or never.
They tell you they will help find you a position, they sent me one opening (in 4 months) which I did not get because of "1 year experience requirement". They tell you to apply anyway!!! Why, you just make the HR person mad for wasting their time.
I have sent out 200 resumes and nothing but 3 interviews which another person got the position because... They had the experience.
They use unethical recruitment practices and demand their sales force to whatever it takes to get a sign up. I have been told this by a former employee.
They let people cheat because if they pass they school continues to receive funds.
I am considering suing MedVance for my money back. If you would like to join a class action suit, please post a answer to this post with phone number (use a friends if you wish to remain anonymous) I will contact you. I will check once a week for numbers.
There are strenghts in numbers and we will be able to find an attorney if there are more than one to sue.
Fed Up MedVance Victim...
