USA Magazine Exchange
Misleading and dishonest ripoff service Phoenix

Here is my story:

I am a current college freshmen in the NJ, I decided two years ago to live my life away from my familly, which stayed in Switzerland. As an independent young man, my life is financially quite rough, I work most of the time between studies and save on everything.

Like most of you, I recently received a few phone calls from USA Magazine Exchange. After about five aborted attempts to call me, I started to wonder who was trying so desperatly to call me on my cell phone. Finally, one day, I picked up my phone quickly enough to hear their story.

Just as I had anticipated, what they had to tell me was of great importance: I had been selected by, I believed Visa or Mastercard, for an incredible chance to win a diamond watch and... Some magazines... For a little more than $3 per issues. Because I could hardly believe their offer, I asked them again and again if the information they had just given me was completly accurate. Their answer stayed ferm and clear; "$3.. Per issues". I actually believed the offer because at the time I thought that they were in fact Visa or Mastercard, which companies issued my credit cards, so far in my life my credit had been perfect.

When a second person called me again to finalize the deal, I was feeling good about my investment. Quickly we came to the point where he asked me about my Credit Card number. I first refused to give it to him, but finally after taking his name and the name of the company I gave it. YES, it was very STUPID, I know, I know...
Remember that I was still believing in the story of the $3 per issues and kept thinking that the deal was decent.

I was quite far from the truth, after geating my number he quickly changed the rules and told me that he would conveniently condense all the payments over 1 year, raising the total amount to about $58 a month. I couldn't believe it and I made clear that I wanted to cancel the deal immediatly. He agreed and we both hanged up.

Am I a moron? No, I am just inexperienced... But I surely believed that I was one for a while, especially when I found out that the first payment was missing on my account. All I want to say is that this is clearly fraudulous, as young people we grow to believe that we live in a fair country where those actions are dealt with by the laws. This is scandalous and it is even more depressing that they do it inside the law.

They are thiefs and liars...
