I started going to Axia college over 2 yrs ago and I found it very easy to finish my education online. I got pregnant with my daughter who is now 2 yrs old and I decided to go back to school to further my education. I finished 12 credits with Axia and I dropped a class. I received a bill for $375 dollars for the class. They did not contact me so that I could make payment plans and return back to school. They automatically sent me to a credit collections agency called Valetine and Karbartas. I called them and I set up a payment arrangement so that this would not go on my credit but it did anyway. I paid them in full and now when I put in a request for my transcripts so that I could attend St. Peter's college, Axia college told me I still owed money and they will not give me my transcript or forward it to another school. I called a finance counselor at Axia College by the name of Michele her ext. Is 37015 (1800-366-9699) and she told me I had to call the corporate collections dept (877-507-2258) & (866-311-1829). She gave me two numbers that have the same answering machine message and I left several messages and know one has called me back to resolve my financial matter. I called Valentine and Kabartas back today and they said they no loger work with Axia College and they could not find my information.
