I received an email several months ago sayng if I gave them information on myself they would give me a FREE CREDIT REPORT. I did so and I did get a credit report. That is the last I heard from them until I got my VISA bill today and they charged my account $79.55.
I did not sign any forms for them to charge my account, I did not authorize them to charge my acount and the original request was suppose to be for a FREE CREDIT REPORT. The word FREE means to me that I am not charged anything.
I want this account cleared up. I am 78, living on fixed income and every penny counts. I cannot afford to be ripped off like this. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I have written to my VISA provider asking them if they would cancel this charge. Do not know if they will or not.
