I was first saw an ad for Tele King on The Fox news channel. I called for information. They sent a tape and some information. Everything they told me in the advertising and verbal was a lie. The advertising said things like No Direct selling. We do the Selling for you. No selling. They did not sell anything as promised.
They say make lots of money and have time to spend it. I only wanted to make a little money to supplement my income. They said start with the small package. Buy six displays and $2500.00 worth of prepaid phone cards. We guarantee we will sell to six locations in your area and each location will sell at least 30 cards a week. Never Happened.
I went to 24 of their so called locations. Most of them did not know what I was doing there. If they tried the cards it was because I talked them into trying. Some tried for 3 weeks and some for 3 months. They all returned the cards as they could not sell them.
I had to buy the inventory for my area and deliver the cards and displays where they sold them. The locations they sent me to sold a total of 52 cards in 5 mounths. I spent more on gas that I earned.
They lied about the cost of the cards.
They lied about who would do the selling.
They lied about the quality of the cards.
They lied about the promised income. Buy six displays and make 200% in the first year.
They lied about the work. I was to go to each location once every one to one and a half weeks to refill their inventory and make sure the display was clean and up to date. I was to collect for the cards they had sold.
I was promised I could be the distributor for jefferson county, co. Then they opened a distributor six blocks from me.
