Purely Water of columbus Ohio rep came and tested my water 10/17/07. He promised gift card and cookware, etc. He said system doesnt use much salt, 40 lbs a year (home of 3). They put 80# in and I added 80# and empty in 2 months. Finance Manager said they can only defer first payment 3 months, so in writing promised rebate check to me equal to 3 months payments $263.40 within 10 days.
I called and called. Phones always rang to same girl in florida... Rebecca White. She relayed lie after lie. It was already mailed. Shipment just came in. Over n Over. 2/1 i got a check in mail from Purely Group JaX FL, return address Orlando Water Solutions, Lakewood FL. It bounced NSF, Bank Amer kept verifying account open, check no good for 2 months! Today, account is now closed. All 7 phone #s are disconnected.
They tried saying check bounced cause they had identity theft problem in their office. Then Jennifer, Manager listed on BBB site, called and promised to fix everything in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later Rebecca is manager and Jennifer no longer works there. Always saying theres another new office, investors have to write the check, some excuse. Rebecca replied to my BBB complaint on 3/24 that I'd receive everything by 4/7. Week later some things are just mailed, and money will be in my hands by 4/25/08. Maybe even wiring it! Well, 4/25 left 2 messages, few days later phone shut off. And I received nothing (except 2 showerheads and a bad check in February, the soap supply - not that great and wont last 5 years, and the coupons. You buy 10 coupons for $1 and have to fill out a form and mail it every time... So pretty useless to me. So yes, BEWARE.
My skin is only worse, along with rest of my health. My finances are suffering from bounced check fees and relying on "check in the mail" at first... Water don't taste better.
I looked all over internet for few hours that nite thesalesman left. Next morning called rebecca to cancel instalation. She had company president, chris, call me back and give me lower price and better system, etc. Sold me on how much i'd save and how it would help my health. Who's paying for the anxiety meds now?
BBB NE FLA is just adding new complaints and no answer to inquiry except "are you satisfied with the latest promise/lie"... Now sorry, they can't do anything else. State Attorney General will try to mediate for 3 more months. Who has the time for all this???
