I changed long distance carriers from Inetba to Excel in June. It takes a while for the change so I expected one or two more bills from Inetha. I kept getting them. I called Excel to see if they had made the change.
I found that Inetba had slammed my some of my lines back to them. As far as I can tell thus far they have done this on three occasions (1) 909 863-0985 on 7/30 (2) 909-863-9486 on 8/26 and (3) 909 863-0985 again around 9/20.
I did put PIC freezes on all but the last one line, It just changed back, so I will do that immediately. The calls made during the slam backs were very small, but the service charge is $20 per month. Now the bill is over $86.25 mostly service charges billed after the lines were slammed back to them the balance were calls.
I am going to pay the bill, and fight it at what ever level available. I was told by a friend that I could pay the money to the Public Utilities Commission until the dispute is resolved.
Is this true? What are my options in dealing with this company? Can the be sued? And finally. How can they do this to me without my consent?
Thank you
