The Executive Professionals
Total Rip-Off! Misleading marketing, horrible service, and they're not even career coaches!

The company talks a big game but only delivers the same instruction you'd find in a $5 dollar career book. It also has unacceptably low service standards. They claim that they will define your career path (they give you a free Myers-Briggs test off the Internet), "identify job opportunities" and "create a powerful marketing campaign." Lies. They don't identify jobs, and they refuse to do so if asked. Their marketing plan doesn't exist! They parroted back the info I gave them and just told me to go network.

I already knew that networking was the best way to get a job. I didn't pay thousands of dollars to hear it from them. They don't even help. They wouldn't help identify individuals, contact information, or open positions. Yes, they provided access to a subscription version of ZoomInfo, but the information is out-of-date and barely more worthwhile than what you get from the free site. They also will not apply to positions on the customer's behalf. I already knew that networking was the best way to get a job. I didn't pay thousands of dollars to hear it from them. They describe their "marketing plan" using vague terms so that the customer won't realize that it's just hot air.

Most egregious is their service and dishonesty. My 1st career advisor said he was retiring. That was a lie. He claimed to put my resume into their recruiting database. I discovered later the database doesn't exist! My 2nd advisor stayed for a month and then he left too.incredibly, the company never bothered to inform me of his departure or provide me with a new advisor! I sent time-sensitive emails for weeks and got no response, because he wasn't there! At that point, I demanded a partial refund. They refused.

Then it got even worse. I literally had to force my 3rd advisor to do anything. The only times he provided me with service were after I complained or reminded him. When I confronted him, he deliberately lied to avoid responsibility by claiming that his emails must have arrived in my bulk mail folder (they didn't). He also knew nothing about me and made no effort to become engaged in the process. He was completely unprepared for our meeting, not even knowing my work history or where I went to school (despite already having my resume). Then he asked ME to give THEM an electronic copy of my resume because he had lost it. What a disgrace.

I expected to receive a real marketing plan and competent service from true professionals. Dismally, they are not even professional career coaches by trade with any particular expertise. My advisor admitted that he was a failed biotech entrepreneur trying to get rich by franchising this concept. The owner is a small business lender (search Wirth Business Credit online and you'll see that it has the same address).

My expectations were reasonable, but were not met. I demanded a refund based on non-provision of services and was refused. They continued their pattern of dishonesty by claiming that everything is my fault because I never engaged in their "process." That's a ruse to avoid answering for their low service levels and misleading marketing practices.
