I have had problems with Drive financial since 2002. I would make payments and they would say they never received them and added on fees upon fees.in February the came to my house at 7:45 am on friday and took my car (after I had all ready spoke to them on the phone on monday that week and said I was making a payment on friday) When I spoke to them asking why they took my car they replied laughing that it was friday... I was so upset seeing how it was 7:30 am and nothing was open at that time for me to even think about going to western union their money. I called and asked whats the min I could pay to get it back they told me I had to pay over $6000.? I only owed $3250. Left on the car—when I asked what the other fees were they again laughed at me and said finance charges? Late fees? And other fees they could not tell me. I spoke with a bank to get a loan and was accepted the bank tried calling the company to make the pay off and drive financial hung up on them! I sent the company $1000. With a notarized noted saying "upon reading and accepting this drive will not proceed to sell my vehicle" that was on February 20 My bank tried again, and again to pay off the rest and on Februaty 29 drive told my bank that they sold the car for $2100. This was only 3 days after we received any kind of letter regarding anything.
Please if anyone knows what I should next please help! I'm looking for a lawyer to help me with this situation. Thank you all for your time.
