My mortgage was with Ameriquest. Then, Citi, bought out my mortgage from them. I recently tried to refinance my loan by calling their refinance line. Each time i called, i got their answering machine, and had to leave a message. After 2 months of this, my messages started getting angry and frustrated. When i purchased my mortgage from Ameriquest, my title company called and got the PAY-OUT amount, over-the-phone, in just a few minutes. The papers were signed, and i was a homeowner. This time, with Citi, i found a buyer and the sale is due to close this week. My mortgage company faxed over all the documents signed. Citi has a policy of WAITING 7-10 working days to be able to tell me, how much do i need to PAY-OFF this loan, today??? NOW, everything is being held up BY Citi. AND they call me EVERYDAY, REPEATEDLY, asking me, when am i going to make my next house payment??? 2 days BEFORE the closing date!!! This is most MOST ignorant arguement, ive ever had, next to argueing with a teenager. I hope Citi, goes bankrupt too.
