Before i go any further let me make a sugestion, you are reading this because you are likely a collector of autographs, if you have any that you got in person, and you dont believe me about my post see for your self send it to psa/dna or gai and see what happens for your self!
Now on to matters of whats going on!
Triming cards, switching autographs, distroying priceless historical memoribilia, all daily pratice with psa/dna and the likes!
I will begin by saying that im a mostly in person collector when i get a chance to follow a band or go to a signing i usualy take it so i have a prety nice collection from over the years. I have sent in some items to psa/dna and the like to be "authenticated". Now i dont need some expert to take $20-$100 from me and tell me what i already know that my autographs are indeed "real" because i was there and saw with my own eyes the player/musician/celeb sign it for me however i wanted to sell a few items and i was informed to send them for formal "authentication" so that my buyers could have a c.O. A they would trust and surely pay top dollar for "boy were they wrong!!!" not only did psa/dna say that my items are "not likely genuine" they took my money for their bogous "opinions". So me being a beliver in the system i sent them a few other items and requested that they credit me due to the oversight on their part, they returned my other items with the same "not likely genuine" letter.
take this for what it is worth i myself have sent dozens of items to them and "all" have been returned with the same bs story of them not being genuine. There is even more that they have done but just writeing this is maeking me angry so im going to end with this - if you send them anything make sure that you got the signature in person so that when they tell you that it is "not likely genuine" you will know that every word that i speak is true!
