Harrison Career Intitute
What a scam

I enrolled at Harrison in 2003 and graduated in 2004. When I enrolled I was told that I had to pay for specific classes for the Medical Office Specialist coarse even though I had already taken typing and Computers at Wright Business School in Oklahoma and had the transcripts to prove it. HCI told me that I could test out of the class but I still had to pay for the course. That did not sound correct to me. The first class I took the test prior to the start of the course and pasted with a 100%, my instructor said that she would see me in three weeks.

When the computer class came around my instructor was out on medical leave. No one in the class was allowed to test out and we were left with a substitute teacher that had trouble turning on the computer. I was asked to help teach more then half the class. And at the end of the course everyone in the class past no matter what the grade or what was learned by the student. Our accounting course was the same way, we lacked the materials (that we paid for in advance) and there for could not be taught correctly. It was taught so poorly that the Director passed everyone in the class and told us that we could all re-take the class for free later if we wanted to. As if we actually got our moneys worth this time?

So, I ask you, with the two student loans that Im trying to pay off along with this Access Loan, is there a class action suit going on that I dont know about? Anyone??
