I heard about Internet Speedway on a local radio station and was under the impression that they could help me make some extra money selling items online.
Around November 10 I called to inquire about the product, the customer representative was very helpful and what really sold me on the product was that they offered a 30 day money back guarantee. Ensuring me that if I did not like the product I could return it in 30 day and my membership would be cancelled.
Once I got the product, I called to receive my free consultation and assistance with building my website and with the selection of production to be sold on my website. I spoke with Hollis Hucksford and he suggested that I upgrade to a superstore to get the maximum benefit from my online store. I agreed the silver superstore at the price of $1600 and this would include a professional built website and at least 25,000 hits to my site.
After the initial pay of $800.00 was made with the agreement of 10 additional payments over the next 10 months Mr. Hucksford told me that a website tech would call me and that they would conduct a interview with me to get details on what product I would like on my website as well as a design for the website.
Well a couple of days has gone by and I still have not had my interview with my website tech. I've tried to reach them for the past 2 days and with unsuccessful attempts I got a little nervous about the company. I did an Internet search and I received nothing but scam hits and the Better Business Bureau report show 341 complaints in the last 36 months.
So today I finally got in contact with the return department to return the cd so I could meet the deadline of 30 day but the customer service rep told me that when I agreed to the upgrade that my 30 money back guarantee was nulled and voided and she says all that could be verified with a tape recording of the agreement. I then told her that I only recall that there was a 30-day money back guarantee and nothing else. I then told her that I am no longer comfortable about this decision and that I would like a refund and she said there was nothing she could do.
I'm at a lost here because I have not received any service and I truly feel that I mad the wrong decision to make a payment without doing my research first. The company is not willing to refund my $800.00 dollars and I am obligated to pay $800.00 more. I do not want this service, nor have I received anything from them other then a cd that I have tried to return.
After finally speaking to Mr. Hucksford about my refund he also said that my payment is non refundable and that our agreement was recorded. I then told him I remember him asking me to record the agreement but I do not recall him stating that my 30 money back guarantee was nulled and voided upon making my upgrade. I also told him that I was on a cell phone and maybe the service was fading out but I did not hear that.
