Verizon ruined my credit by charging me $351.00 for an account that I closed almost a year ago. They claimed that I cancelled before the contract was over, but this is untrue and I feel helpless every time I call customer service they are not helpful and rude. First of all I was never contactad by Verizon with a bill for the $351.00, I found out that I had a verizon account in collection thru the monthly credit report that I receive every month. How can this be possible, they never called me or sent my a letter and all of the sudden they sent me to collection and ruined my credit. My credit score lost 50 pts!!! Thanks to Verizon. If any of you have found a solution to a similar problem, please advice!
