I do not understand why the "DO NOT CALL LIST" seems to be the only law this company has been convicted of? I can ignore all the phone calls from any company in the world w / caller id. But in a weak moment I decided to find out more about a discount travel company. If it had not been for Bank of America offering their 0% credit card I would have never never signed UVN's contract.
I have been banking w / Bank of America for over 15 years and I stupidly trusted them to protect me or at least help me if I was scammed by a company that they allowed to peddle their credit card! At this point it seems as though Bank of America is on UVN's side.
I knew my rights as far as the 3 day cancellation law, and also my right to dispute the fraudulent charges. Despite my loyalty to Bank of America and my timing of the 3 day law, Bank of America allowed UVN to keep my money!
UVN's officers should be convicted of fraud, and made to pay back all of the victims. Bank of America? I won't do business with them again. What good is a banking corporation that sides with fraudulent business? Don't expect your credit card company to protect you from these theives.
