Several charges on my credit report that I did not authorize

Providian Financial has placed charges on my credit that I was not aware of until recently when I filed for a credit report, I did not authorize these transactions.

I dealt with this company one time many years ago, however I did not continue to use this account. I informed the company years ago to close this account after I used them once and I do not understand why I have these many charges by this company.

I would like to have these charges cleared off my credit report and I want to be contacted as soon as possible with the results.
