Rip off lies and deceitful schooling practices

I enrolled at the University of Phoenix with the highest hopes of obtaining my BSN and advancing to a management position. I already had some college credits towards a BSN and I gave the school my transcripts. I was hustled into starting immediately with the promise of free books. I was told by the enrolment counselor that if I did not start within two weeks I would pay many hundreds of dollars more. So I agreed, as the free books and option of going to class in my spar time was very tempting. They made it sound so wonderful. No standing in line and waiting for closed classes. Going to school on my time frame. Not having to change my work schedule exc.
They had not informed me of where I would start in the series, considering the classes I had already taken, as time was of the essence to get the free book offer. I told them that their schedule appeared as if I was repeating classes by looking at the title. I was told by them that the classes I had taken at Cal St Fullerton could not be confirmed against their curriculum as yet. Either way the first three weeks was introductory class.

I started, and was pulled two days later as my student loan was not confirmed. I just went to my computer to log in and I was denied access. They did not even inform me.

I was put back into class two weeks later, and pulled a second time after only 24 hours over a signature that they could not find. All of this should have given me a clue but I pushed ahead.

I was put back into class two weeks later, and had a very hard time trying to understand there on line environment It was very confusing. The syllabus was all out of order and context. I could not understand what they wanted from me. I would call the teachers and leave messages and send e-mails. No one ever answered me. I called my advisor and all she would say was " I felt the same way, You will get used to it". I struggled thought the first class spending greater than 15 hours per week on line and working full time. I did finish class number 1 with great difficulty.

At the urging of some friends not to give up I decided to give class number two a try. It was worse than number one.

The syllabus was completely non comprehendible, I called the teacher and she was very old sounding and had no clue who I was or what I was talking about. She stated that she had a bad day, was tired and would get back to me. She never did. No mater where I posted things it was always wrong. I complained constantly to my advisors over postings, but it all fell on deaf ears.

I also repeatedly told them that I had a similar class at Cal ST. Fullerton, could I possibly be repeating? All I said to them went unanswered. I dropped two weeks into the second class. It was to much, and confusing and I felt deceived.

I am know being hounded and threatened with destroying my credit if I do not give them $820 immediately. I have called, sent e-mails and have not been able to get hold of anyone. I do not have that kind of money. I am not a young nurse and often work extra shifts to keep afloat.

I was planning on deferring a student loan and paying a little at a time. University of phoenix was a mistake of gargantuan proportion They want 800 dollars and I get nothing, absolutely nothing. Not even any transferable class. The first class is their own intro. And can not be used anywhere else. I was not told this till after I dropped. I am so angry and I do not know how I am going to pay them and my dream of an advanced degree is slipping away. I feel so deceived and ripped off. How can I get out of this mess?
