I went on line to apply for a Government grant, to what I thought was a Government site. A few days later I got a call from "Joan" who said she was assigned to help me with the paperwork and I could receive at least 5K and even up to 70K. She said I would have to pay $299.00 to cover all the paper work and I would receive the application in the mail within 10 to 20 days. This was on April 26th or 27th.
She said I would need to have the money in our back account and they would debit it on the 4th of May. So I borrowed the money and did as she said. They actually debited the money on May 14th. I waited 20 days and still no paperwork. I called Joan and she said they had had so many to do it was taking 2 weeks longer than normal, but I should receive the paperwork in the next two weeks. This is July 30th and still no paperwork.
When I call and leave a message, no one returnes my call. I ask Tom to call and Joan didn't recognize his name and she called him back. Joan told Tom that the paper work would be in the mail in two weeks. Well it's been three weeks and still no paperwork. I thought I was to smart to get scammed, but I guess I'm not so smart after all. Now instead of getting a grant, I'm out 299.00 that I have to pay back.
I hope someone files a law suit against these people. To me, they are the lowest bottom feeders on the planet! I hope they're cought and brought to justice.
