CHECK FRAUD JFYC withdrew $84.00 from my account without my permission!

Tonight I was in the process of purchasing some airline tickets online and went to check the balance of my checking account and noticed a draft for $84.00 made on 07/26. First of all, I was out of town during that time and haven't wrote a check out of my account for several weeks!!!

I did not recognize the name of the company "JFYC" and when I searched the business name, I came across this website.

After reading the testimonials of several other victims, I contacted the number on the face of the check under memo: "Entitlement Pro 513-244-3357". I called the number and got a VERY generic voicemail that simply said to leave a message. I left a message informing them of their crime and that I will be filing criminal charges!

How in the world are these people able to get away with this??? I'll be contacting my bank first thing in the morning.in the meantime, I'm going to consult an attorney to see if a class action lawsuit can be filed.

I'm wondering how they got my account information and if it has anything to do with some spyware I removed from my computer recently. I was attempting to download a game to my PC about a week ago and it installed a "spyware" virus that attached itself to my hard drive and caused a barrage of annoying pop ups.

Tonight I removed each file, one by one, but I read that there are companies that use these viruses to gather personal information off of your PC. I'm not 100% sure if this is related to the aforementioned incident, however, it certainly is worth looking into. If anyone has experienced this same issue shortly after having problems with spyware being installed on their computer&we may have found out how the culprit got access to this information!

I will keep you posted. Electronic payments made online sure has been a gift and a curse! I think I may resort to the "old fashioned" way of shopping and paying bills from this day forward! Anyone with a computer who believes they are truly submitting their information across a "secure" server is at risk!
