On February 19, I gave Steve Billig from Nature's Prime a check in the amount of $1673 for an order of organic meat. To date, I have not received the order or my money back. After many phone calls, Steve Billig called me to say his daughter had been very sick, but he would get the order delivered to me. Since then, nothing again, and I now want my money back, but Steve is no longer returning my calls.
I have been dealing with Nature's Prime and Steve for a couple of years, including getting a freezer through them, but this was the first time I had paid for the order in full in advance (big mistake). Previously, I paid for the food on a monthly basis AFTER it had been delivered, through their financing company, Fair Financial. Fair Financial has told me that there's nothing that they can do for me in this situation.
I will be following all of the advice I saw today from other customers (wish I'd have done that first!), but because I had something of a history with the company, it didn't occur to me this may occur.
I will do everything I can to get my money back from this thief.
