I got a phone call today saying that I was approved for a $4500 government grant. They then were asking me questions about my bank information and personal information. They sounded legit.
When they asked me for my bank account information, I knew it didn't sound right. Why would you pay so much money to receive money?
I didn't give them any information. I looked it up on here and found that they have a consumer complaints against them. I just wanted to share that it's a scam and point out a few things so that you know.
I asked my Dad, that has been scammed before, how to tell if it's legit. He said that if they call you or you apply on a non-secure site, than it's not legit. But if you apply on a secure site and they don't ask for a processing fee, then they are more than likely legit.
Please keep these things in mind.
