I received a phone call on my cell phone from a heavily accented Middle Eastern / Indian man stating he was from the Government Grant Association, He stated that I was selected to receive a $10,000 grant all he needed to do was confirm some of my information. He wanted to confirm my address, telephone number, and my date of birth.
Thats when I got a worried. I asked him for a contact number and he gave me 877-525-4854. Before the conversation went any further I disconnected the call. I then went online searching for this "government grant association" and thats when I found usacomplaints.com
After reading all of the other reports about this company I was glad I didn't give these people any of my personal information. BEWARE if it doesn't sound right it probably isn't legit. I then went to www.grant. Gov and contacted the fraud hotline to report these people.
