I responded to a fax offering to sell my business. Met with a representative who said it would cost $2500 for "evaluation", gave him a check for that amount. He said, and it is also in the contracts, that if thet did not introduce me to at least one qualified buyer within a year I would get my money back.
Not once did anyone contact me so I sent them an overnight letter requesting a refund, which was returned. I tried to call and the numbers are out of service. I see from reading other tales of woe that they went bankrupt and I am not the only one in this position.
