Alliance contacts small business's with a sales scheme stating they have a buyer for your business. Don't beleive it!
The business analyst that is sent to your business states that there is a buyer in thier data base looking for a business exactly like mine. But to start the sale process a business evaluation must be done. This valuation is prepared by an independant company and mine cost 4000.00. This is required to sell your business.
The contract states that Alliance will introduce a qulified buyer within one year or refund your money in full. DON'T BELEIVE IT!!!
The valuation that is sent to you is totaly worthless, it looks professional but nobody can make any sense out of it. Mine has been sent to five different companies with the same result it is worthless.
The only contact made thru out the year was initiated by me. Each time I was told that several people were being qualified and there was alot of intrest in my business. I was NEVER contacted by a buyer. I also never received the update report that was promised to me each time I called that was to list the number of times people looked at my business info.
One week befor my contract was to end I received a registered letter from Randy Hicks with Funding sources. This info is available on the Small Business Association Site. Not one of the people listed on this info Knew of Alliance or my self. None had ever been intrested in my business or location.
My contract clearly states that a qualfied entity must be intrested in my business or location.
When I contacted Alliance requesting a refund I was told that they had fulfilled thier contract. I explained that I had contacted all names on thier list and none knew anything about my business. Some were mad that Alliance was using thier names in this obvious scam, stating they would help me if court proceedings were to take place.
Alliance then contacted me with a buyer. This happened 2 weeks after my contract was up and I had already requested a refund.
I contacted the buyer and he was evasive. Not at all like someone intrested in my business. I have listed with a local broker to sell my business and they suggested we contact the supposed buyer again letting him know that the business was repriced to a fair market value, not the value Alliance had listed but 100.000 less. This person told he was not intrested in my business nor had he ever been intrested.
I have contacted the company many times requesting a refund. The CEO Randy Hicks is never available nor is the legal officer Ted Marriott.
I am intrested in putting this company out of business! I will help in this matter in any way I possibly can. I am pursueing this many different ways.
I checked with the Better Business Bureau before starting this association with Alliance They had no reports of problems in thier home town or in my area. I don't understand how this is possible as the State Attorney Generals office has had more than one complaint. The officers of this business have been previously involved in fraudent business
activties.
