Thank god for the internet! I have absolutely horrible credit so when I got this offer, I was a bit surprised. I read everything very carefully and was suspicious but thought I would check the internet to see if there was anything out there regarding this company.
The things that made me suspicious is: 1) there was no logo for Visa or Mastercard so didn't seem like a legitimate credit card; 2) it seemed liked it could only be used to purchase merchandise from the "CCA" catalog but there wasn't any reference to a website to actually look at the catalog; and 3) the biggest factor that made me realize this was not any kind of "deal" was that I had to purchase over $500 of merchandise for the $200 membercard activation fee of $200 to be waived and another over $300 to offset the $198 membercard annual fee. So essentially, I had to commit to purchasing over $800 of merchandise to offset $398 of fees. No thank you.
I was a victim of a scam so, unfortunately, have learned the hard way to be wary of offers.
Once again, I am thankful for the internet!
