I received my invitation from CCA/First National Card today January 23. Like millions of other Americans that have fallen prey to these types of offers time and time again, I was curious and immediately hopped onto the internet to check into this so-called Credit Service Division. That is the FIRST thing I do whenever I get unexpected and peculiar offers in the mail.
All I found for Credit Service Division in my Google Search were Rip-Off Messages from many other people some of which had been taken advantage of and others of whom had been given the warnings before jumping headfirst into this tricky scam.
I have screwed my credit up in the past - mostly due to irresponsibility on credit card payments. My fault I know and it will take me many years to fix my mistakes. Now the only offers for credit that I get are from companies like CCA or companies offering a line of credit (about $500) but requiring roughly $350 in fees to start the whole thing off. What a joke.
I've made mistakes in the past but I do know that it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE that I should ever have to pay money in order to have money. That's what CCA and their First National Card do. They say you have a $99 annual fee and a $199 activation/setup fee. They offset these eye-catching amounts by luring you in with their proposal that if you buy $500 in products from their "mysterious, unheard of" catalog then your $199 activation fee would be waived. Again, absolutely ridiculous.
Lets do a real quick breakdown of this scam.ccA sends these offers to millions of Americans that are probably desperate to acquire some sort of means to pay for something that they can't afford. They provide a substantial $6500 credit limit but require almost $300 in fees right away. They then say not to worry about the fees because they will waive them when you've made your first $700 in purchases from their catalog. So lets see here.
How much money would CCA make if all of their mailed invitations to ruin your life were taken seriously. Well, it could very well be on the magnitude of hundreds of millions to billions of dollars of OUR HARD EARNED MONEY. And for what, a bunch of second-hand, poor quality merchandise that we never get to see until it's on our doorstep at which time it becomes nearly impossible to return the product or get a replacement.
What a joke. My fellow Americans it's companies like these that should be chopped into mince meat and used in holiday pies. For all the anxiety and awe that they create in the eyes of poor, struggling Americans all over the USA to the lies and deceit that blossom from their scandalous disquise - but unfortunately too late for some people who end up losing a lot of their hard-earned money.
Do yourself a favor if you have this card - cut this card into as many pieces as you'd like, place it into an envelope along with a letter saying that you demand more respect than what CCA has shown you and that you find their offer absurd and disrepectful to the nth degree.
If we want to arise from all the deceit and lies that surround us as Americans in the 21st Century then we need to stand up and let these companies know that they are wasting their time in trying to steal our money. Let's put our fist down.
