I went to Wal-Mart on 4-16 to buy groceries as usual wrote a check for almost $150.00. When the checker sent tried to send it thru, she said my check is being denied I asked why said she did not know. I asked her to send it thru again same thing.
So she gave me both little slips that were printed out, the place was packed and I was totally embarassed. So I went out to my truck and called there 800#. Spoke with a girl who I had to give my personal information to. SS#, dl#, physical and mailing address and my name. She pulled up all this information wanted to know if i had another checking account.
Told her no I have had this one since 1996. She then told me that they had entered the wrong information and that this was not me. I advised her to fix so i could pay for my groceries.
After entering in alot of information she comes back and tells me that i can not write a check for 3 day to several companies and that some internet checks will not go thru if i try and pay my bills on line. I told her again that this was not my mistake to fix it. She advised me she could do nothing else.
I called back and spoke to Tony a manager there advised him of what had happened also. He told me I'm not telling you can't write a check, just advising you that it might not go thru. Told him it was there mistake to fix it. Again told it would take me three day. Why should i have to pay for there mistake.
