The last three checks I have tried to pass have been refused. I called my bank to see what was the problem. My account is in good shape, with no outstanding checks. I called their 800 number and gave them my information, drv no. Etc.
I was advised that they had another number on my file. This number did have some outstanding checks, but not mine or on my checking account. Why would they get someone's drv lcn no on my account? If I wrote someone a check and the one recieving the check wanted the person of verify who they were, it shouldn't be held against me.
It is frustrating to have this happen to you when you know you have done nothing wrong. The party on the 800 no told me to send them a copy of my drivers licnese and a voided check by fax to them. Who pays for the fax fee? When I gave them my numbers, it should have been all that would be needed. They could easily have verrified it.
